You may not be where you want to be in terms of your progress. But keep in mind that progress, no matter how small it is, is still progress. You will keep moving forward and getting one small victory at a time until one day you can look back at your life and see the leaps and bounds you've made. So whether it's the first pound you lost or the first mile you have run in a very long time, consider that a success and keep moving forward!
We all face issues that we know we have to overcome in our life. Whether our hardship comes in the form of losing weight or quitting cigarettes, we tend to push it off for another day.
"I would, but..."
"One day I'll do something about it, but not right now."
"I have too much on my plate this time of year."
So today let's readjust our focus and confront what we want to conquer. If not, we'll keep ignoring it and making excuses.
When we start working our way toward our goals, we often times have so much passion and energy. Unfortunately, that energy is hard to maintain and your passion may dwindle away.
